AI consultancy that actually changes how you work
From someone who runs AI in live delivery, and stays until it sticks.
AI consultancy is expert help to work out where AI genuinely fits your business, then put it into practice. A good AI consultant decides what’s actually worth doing, maps it to your real workflows, and supports the rollout so you or your team adopt it. I do that as someone who runs these AI workflows in live client delivery every day.
This is general AI consultancy, and it applies whether your focus is marketing, operations or running the whole business. If what you specifically want is your marketing run with AI, that’s AI marketing.
You’ve probably sat in a few meetings about AI transformation by now. Read the threads, watched the demos. And then gone back to your desk with no clearer idea what to actually do differently tomorrow. It can feel like everyone else is figuring this out faster than you are. They’re mostly not.
I’m Tamas, and this is most of what I do now. I help businesses cut through the noise, decide where AI is genuinely worth the effort, and then I stay involved while it gets built into how you and your team work. Real workflows on real deadlines, so the change is still there in six months.
What an AI consultant actually does
Strip away the jargon and AI consulting comes down to three jobs: working out where you are, deciding what’s worth doing, and helping it actually happen.
AI readiness review. A clear read on where you and your business sit today, and where the fastest, safest wins are. This is the part most people skip, and it’s why so much AI effort gets spent in the wrong place.
AI strategy, scoped to your real workflows. Deciding where AI genuinely helps and where it honestly doesn’t, mapped to the actual jobs you and your team do day to day. The goal is a short list you can act on this quarter.
Implementation and embedding support. Staying involved while the workflows get built and adopted, so the change lands in practice. (Where the need is building the automations, that’s AI automation. Where it’s upskilling the whole team, that’s AI training.)
That covers the whole arc of an AI transformation: readiness, the AI strategy, and the AI integration into how you already work. It’s the strategy front door to the rest of what I do with AI.
Strategy that gets implemented
Here’s where most AI consulting falls down. You get a smart recommendation, the consultant moves on, and three months later nothing has actually changed in how the work gets done.
The value was never the recommendation. It’s whether AI ends up in the actual working day, doing real work. So I stay through the AI implementation: helping set the workflows up, working through the snags, and adjusting as you and your team start using them for real. You come out the other side doing things differently in practice, with the capability sitting inside your business where you can keep building on it.
That’s the difference that makes the strategy worth paying for. I stay through the build with you and see it land in how the work actually gets done.
An AI strategy consultant grounded in real delivery
My advice comes from making AI work on live jobs, with real money and real deadlines riding on it. It’s grounded in delivery, the kind you only learn by doing it yourself.
I learned AI as a marketer running live delivery, with my own money and clients’ results on the line. That’s the lens I bring as an AI strategy consultant: I’ll show you why a workflow works, the thinking underneath it, so it holds up when the next model lands and the tool you used last month gets replaced. The tools change constantly. Understanding what good looks like, and how to feed AI the right context to get there, is the part that lasts.
For you and your team, that means you end up able to judge AI output yourselves, brief it properly, and keep improving after I’ve stepped back. The capability stays with you.
Start with an AI readiness review
Not sure you’re even ready for this? That’s normal, and it’s the right question to ask first. The quickest way to find out is the AI readiness survey. Answer a few questions about how you and your team work today and you’ll get a scored snapshot back: where you stand, where the early wins are, and what to fix before you invest in anything bigger. It takes about three minutes.
How engagements work
Every business is at a different starting point, so I don’t have a fixed package. Most engagements begin with a discovery call and a readiness review, so we both understand what’s actually going on before committing to anything. From there we scope the work to what you need: a focused piece of AI strategy, or strategy plus hands-on implementation and embedding support over a longer stretch.
On cost: I’d rather understand your situation and price it properly than throw a number out cold. We scope it on the call, and you’ll know exactly what you’re getting before anything starts. AI consultancy services in the UK vary wildly in price and in what you actually get for it, so the honest answer is that it depends on the work, and I’ll always tell you straight whether it’s worth doing at all.
The person you’d be working with
Good AI advice is only as good as the experience behind it, so here’s mine, briefly.
I’m Tamas Mihaly, based in Bristol, UK, and I work with businesses wherever they are. I’ve spent over 10 years in digital marketing across agency life, freelance work and running my own businesses.
The most relevant part: I headed up AI implementation at a marketing agency, getting the team to actually change how they work day to day. That’s the hard part of any AI transformation, and I’ve done it from the inside, under real pressure, with a real team. I left agency life because the gap between what AI made possible and what a big team would actually adopt got too wide to ignore.
These days I run AI workflows every day across my own businesses and client delivery. So when I advise you on what’s worth doing, it comes from someone still doing it.
“Genuinely impressive… the practicality. Real demonstrations, useful tools, quick wins you can apply immediately.”

“A year of training later and it has changed how I work, how I run my business, and how I think.”
